The match last week was rained out and postponed, so FC Delta are chomping at the bits to get back on the pitch and continue the good form! The forecast for tomorrow looks like a beautiful day for footy, so come out to South Philly and support the Hydras! 🐉🔥

Week 2 Final: FC Delta 1 - 0 Sunday Georgie

The first half of this game was not the best for FC Delta. We couldn’t get quality possessions going and the passing wasn’t sharp. But the Hydras made some great halftime adjustments, locked in and took control of the game. 1 goal was all that was needed in this close, competitive match. Great defense held it down to secure 3 points! 🐉

🏆 FC DELTA ARE DIVISION CHAMPIONS! 🏆

Going into the last game of the regular season, Delta had a chance to win the division title. News was buzzing before kickoff that Spicy Boi FC was leading their game 3-1 against the 2nd place Sunday Georgie.

However, FC Delta didn’t need any help to secure their championship. It was all Delta from the first whistle to the final. They routed Oaklyn Academy Pride 6-0.

FC Delta finished the season with a record of 8-1-2, which was their best season in club history (est. Fall 2019). It’s also their first ever division title!

Now the Hydras turn their focus to the Kelly Cup tournament! DELTA IS MASSIVE! 🐉🔥
