Cindy called me recently to build a ramp to her back deck. While small in size, it was a challenge! The top stair was level, the second step was not. The concrete sloped towards the house and the pavers sloped away from the house. Needless to say, this made it a challenge. Each stringer was cut specifically to fit its respective location and match the imperfections in the surface below. All this effort was to ensure the ramp was level as well as sturdy.
