Definitely first world problems— something helping me: Looking at one source of design inspo instead of all of it. Finding the things i like consistently and — keeping it simple at the end of the day with my picks.
Everything that’s more temporary than not… picking things that will feel more timeless, less trendy, and then we can play with paint and lighting fixtures.

This little dining area has served us well over the last five years— and I’m so ready for more SPACE 🪄

While we are building on to our house, i find myself finding ways to stay steady and keep things fresh inside our home. Maybe it’s the way I feel i can contribute besides cleaning the job site 🤣😅 today, instead of steam cleaning these chairs again, I decided to simply reupholster them. Such an easy upgrade and gave me a reason to visit Joann’s one last time (rip and tbh I’m very sad, that place is a touchstone of my childhood!!).

Yes I’ll scotch guard don’t you worry.

I love the shape and look of the chairs so we will likely purchase more when our dining room expands (so soon!!) to pair with a new big mama table. I bought lots of fabric so we good.

I was sitting in a friends house a couple months ago and looking at a painting i did 5 years ago and was like I’m taking that thing home 🤣 i thought i would just enhance what was there but i accidentally just redid the whole thing. Love her so much now 🪄 evolution at its finest, nothing is forever 🦋
