Whether it's just the north side of your house or all the siding, eventually it will start looking green and moldy. The common approach is to powerwash it off, which can create more problems. You will lose water pressure the higher you aim the wand and if you aren't careful you can damage the siding. That's why I recommend scrubbing it instead. As you can see in the 2 pictures, scrubbing does a much better job than power washing alone. It solves all the problems that a power washer may cause plus it also get into the grooves and crevices of your siding! This leaves the siding looking cleaner, for a longer time.
