As a consumer you should know that in order for the auto body shop to be on this DRP list the insurance co puts limits on the amount the shop can bill them for parts & labor which can result in:

The DRP shop wants to do everything possible to protect their relationship with your insurance co as this results in a steady stream of work for them but Who is your insurance company's customer? Who is the body shop working for you or the insurance co? When a body shop signs a contract with your insurance company they are essentially working for them when they write your estimate.
