Busy School Bus Transportation Company, located in Bridgewater New Jersey has a full-time position opening for a Bus Mechanic to work in the mechanic shop.
Main Functions
• The ideal candidate must have 2 to 5 years' experience.
• Candidate must be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on school buses, and vans.
• Candidate must be able to diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the driver or the mechanic shop foreman.
• Candidate must be able to test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure soundness and to determine any other problems do not exist.
• Candidate must be willing to go on road calls. CDL training available.
• Candidate must have knowledge of State regulated inspection procedure. Prepare vehicles for inspection; order parts etc when inspection date comes everything is ready.
• Candidate must be well trained and highly organized professional who takes pride in his work.
