Mirchi ki launji ~ that spicy tangy to-go pickle , when you don’t have time and fancy ingredients to make pickles. This is the yummiest and easiest pickle I learnt from my Marwari friend… this the integral part of their meals, right from the parathas in breakfast to dinners.
I will be sharing the reel shortly and you can save this written recipe till then.
Serrano Peppers 8-10 , chopped and deseeded
Saunf(fenner seeds) coarsely grounded, dhaniya powder, jeera(cumin seeds), heeng(asafetida) , haldi(turmeric) , 2 tsp milk, juice of 1 lemon. 1.5 tbsp oil.
Heat oil in the pan, add jeera and heeng. Set the flame to minimum, add the spices. Add chilis and salt. Mix everything together. Finally add milk. Turn the flame off. Add lemon juice after removing it from burner. Tadaa your launji is ready !!
