Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month is a reminder that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, purpose, & self-worth, on their own terms, with full inclusion in their community.
At RHD, that is the work we show up to do every day. We categorically reject the notion that a diagnosis, such as a learning disability, defines a person’s potential. Together, we are better when we listen, support, advocate, and build systems that recognize the strengths and possibilities in every individual we serve.

Yesterday was Disability Rights Legislative Day! We are grateful for all of those who were able to go to Jefferson City & advocate for disability rights in Missouri! Without funding for day program services in Missouri, the art you see here wouldn’t be possible. Tell your MO representatives, funding for day services matters, no cuts to DD services!
