10 Tips for a fun & safe Trick or Treat.
1. Always Trick or Treat in groups 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
2. Use a flashlight 🔦 or glow sticks to be seen.
3. Only visit well lit houses. 🏡
4. Examine candy 🍬 before eating.
5. Look both ways before crossing the street. 🚗
6. Consider face paint over mask as they can obstruct children’s vision. 👀
7. Use sidewalks whenever possible avoiding the roadway. 🚷
8. Make sure costumes fit properly to avoid trips and falls. 👗🦸‍♂️
9. Stay on the steps, never enter a strangers home. 🏠
10. Contact authorities if you see something suspicious. 👮🏼‍♀️

The Shinnston Police Department will be hosting Trunk or Treat at the Shinnston City Park on Oct 28 from 3pm - 7pm. Trunk or Treat!! The first 100 kids will receive a free treat bag.
We invite all businesses and first responders to decorate a trunk and enjoy the afternoon at the park treating the children. We will have several other activities as well. Hope to see you there!

This week we installed a HD IP Surveillance system for the WVDOH Tunnel Hill location.

Today we finished up a surveillance system installation for the City Of Shinnston along the rail trail. These cameras record 24/7 and will feed back to the Shinnston Police Department.
