Nick joined Broad River Insurance in 2024 and has served insurance in North Carolina for 6 years along with many other states.

For fun, Nick enjoys hikes with his 2 dogs and enjoys cheering for the Carolina Panthers and the Buffalo Bills. He is also a part time resident in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Brenda has been with Broad River Insurance since July 2007 and has served customers in different roles over the years with excellent customer service and compassion.

She started her insurance career with Aflac in 2003 working with small employer groups in WNC, and has expanded to working with individuals and families with ACA coverage, Medicare, dental, vision, and life. She has always enjoyed working with people in the community and thrives on helping others.

She was born and raised here, and enjoys living in Lake Toxaway with her husband, Gray. In her spare time, she loves tending to her flowers, gardening, spending time with her family, spoiling her grandkids & dogs, and being anywhere outdoors exploring our beautiful mountains.

Susie is joining our team at Broad River Insurance this year. She graduated from California State University, Dominguez Hills with a Bachelor of Science in Production Operations Management. Her career began in 1982 as a P&C Agent, a role she held for 23 years before her family moved to the mountains of Western North Carolina in 2005. For 12 years, she taught music to preschool children at Fletcher United Methodist Church until the COVID pandemic.

In 2021, Susie decided to pursue a career in life and health insurance, obtaining her license and working with AFLAC and several other health and life insurance companies. She is also an active member of the Etowah Lions Club, where she organizes Red Cross blood drives and participates in community fundraising efforts for childhood cancer and Meals on Wheels.

Susie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Dave, to whom she has been married for nearly 22 years, and their son Nicholas. In her spare time, she loves exploring the mountains, traveling, and gardening.

Our office will be closed starting Monday, December 22nd till Monday, January 5th.
