I have been welcomed into your email inboxes over the years to provide you with regular updates on what we were working on in and around the district, but all good things must come to an end. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas on the House floor! The 23 foot tree is up for the holiday season and today, our district ornaments went up. This year, our district ornament was done in coordination with the Hallet Oak Gallery in Hallettsville. The gallery had an artist from our community paint the ornament which represents House District 13. On one side, you see the bluebonnets that bloom in the spring and bring visitors from near and far to take in their beauty. We also see a longhorn to represent the livestock that is seen all through out HD 13 and is representative of the hardworking farming/ranching families in our district. The tree will be on display until January 2nd.

It’s Election Day! Remember, this is an important election for the future of our state. You will be voting for who will represent you the next few years. It’s important that you make your voice heard, so get out and vote!
