Brea Senior Center

We are excited to announce that our very own instructor, Eunice, was awarded North Orange Continuing Education's Teacher of the Year! 🎉 Nominated by students, this award shows her extraordinary following among students. Eunice teaches two Health & Wellness classes at the Brea Senior Center and more classes at multiple community sites throughout North Orange County. Her students consistently praise her sense of humor, her individualized approach to meeting each student’s needs, and her truly contagious energy that brings joy and motivation into every classroom. A well-deserved congratulations to Eunice! 😊

This year, the Brea Senior Center Christmas Celebration continued to break records with our biggest party yet at 450 seniors in attendance! 🎉 Held at the stunning Brea Improv, seniors were able to enjoy coffee & pastries while socializing with all of their friends. Everyone loved dancing along to entertainment provided by Those Guys band before Reunion Kitchen + Drink served every senior, plus 50 volunteers, a delicious 3-course holiday meal. The celebration gained so much attention it was even featured in the Orange County Register local section on Monday, December 8.

Thanks to an incredibly generous donation from Dwight Manley, all 450 seniors were sent home with a special cash gift. On top of that, over 100 lucky seniors were awarded gift cards, thanks to donations from the Brea Firefighters Association (Brea Fire Department), Brea Police Association, Police Management Association, and Brea Korea Sister City Association.

This event would not be possible without support from the wonderful staff at Brea Improv and Reunion Kitchen + Drink, along with Brea Community Services staff, City Executives, City Council members and Commissioners. A huge thank you to Dwight Manley, Brea Improv, & Reunion Kitchen + Drink for working together to make Christmas extra special for our Brea seniors!
