I got to see Craig Morgan in concert this past week.

I was impressed by TWO things:

1- Did you know that "Morgan previously served 17 years in the Army and Army Reserve with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions as a staff sergeant and fire support specialist — including airborne, air assault and rappel master among his Army certifications. He is now returning to serve his country in a new way – as a Soldier in the Army Reserve." Craig Morgan has a passion at 61 years old to be able to say that he is a RETIRED Veteran & finish out his 20 years. So- "Craig Morgan surprised the sold-out audience at the Grand Ole Opry by enlisting and being sworn into the U.S. Army Reserve during the live show July 29." Pretty cool.

2- Morgan also mentioned that he didn't know that a VA loan was available to him while serving active duty! HOLY COW! My take away---That means that OTHER service members don't realize that either!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW- YOU PROBABLY QUALIFY:

What are the Requirements to Get a VA Loan?
You may qualify for a VA loan by meeting one or more of the following requirements:

You served 90 consecutive days of active service during wartime.
You served 181 days of active service during peacetime.
You have 6 years of service in the National Guard or Reserves, or served 90 days (at least 30 of them consecutively) under Title 32 orders.
You are the spouse of a service member who died while serving or died from a service-connected disability.
