We've been putting in work on something I've had bouncing around in my head for a while now. Shoutout to Christian and JP for helping us get some stages built out this week, and to Kyle Tregler and Shooting Sports Of Tampa Bay for opening up the range so we could actually put it to the test.
There are a ton of great shooting communities in Central Florida and we genuinely love all of them. At Tactical Shooting Sports Association we're always trying to add something new to the mix for Tampa Bay. This one is pretty simple. Show up, run what you have, shoot some stages, hang out with good people. Any caliber, any platform, and yes 2-gun pistol shotgun is absolutely on the table.
Nothing is locked in yet but we're moving in the right direction. More details coming when we have them.

What a weekend. Participating in The Patriot Games Immokalee instead of volunteering this time hit different.
Running in the same heat as my partner in crime Christian made it even better. We cooked out there bro.
This community is objectively the best niche hobby community on the planet and seeing everyone just reminded me why 🤣
The Hot Range Stefan Still and Brian Fowkes showed out. Stefan brought home two trophies. Respect the King of Florida, kthx. Brian, you always know exactly what to say between stages to keep me in the fight. Thank you for that.
Events like this give you real feedback on your fitness, your gear, and your marksmanship all at once. My fitness and marksmanship have work to do but my equipment never gave me a single excuse all day.
ZULISY red dot ran flawlessly from start to finish. Bright, clear, and never skipped a beat under competition conditions. Rock Island Armory / Armscor 1911 A2 got dragged through a literal sand pit and had zero malfunctions all day, while some pistols priced four to five times higher did. Hunters HD Gold are the best glasses in the game for shooting sports, full stop. Win a pair at a match or just buy them because they are worth every penny.

All packed up for Immokalee this weekend.
I have stocked up on sun screen and bug spray (Deet 100 🔥).
