The board is made, with the edge grain facing up. Juice groove on both sides. The side for vegetables and the other side for meat. This produces a flat, absorbent surface that keeps your knives in good condition. Although the wood may show marks over time, Edge Grain Cutting Boards. Hold up well for years of use.
Keep it looking beautiful with butcher block oil.
