Last night I drove the Ziebarth 86 360 car with the MSTS 410’s. Heat race I was trying to get Laps, feeling out the car. We were a tad on the free side, but got more confidence as the race went on. We had to run the B. On the start we got next to 2nd out of turn 2. Slid up and ran 3rd for half the race. We got slid for 4th, running there until I got caught up with a lap car that couldn’t hold a line and was really slow. Unfortunately we got slid for the final spot. Looking back I should’ve ripped the cushion harder to get to the lap car sooner. I could’ve poked my nose or drove around, but I didn’t want to wreck or get wrecked. I respect equipment and what this all takes. In the future I’ll be more aggressive. That has to be top 5 worst feelings… passed on the last lap for a transfer. I hate it for Steve.

Made some moves forward in the heat to get us into the invert. Had a really good car for the feature. Unfortunately we lost brakes at the first yellow about halfway. I wish that didn’t happen, we really had a car to get up to the front. Should’ve had fourth, but got stuck behind a roadblock. That’s the way she goes.
