The Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Junior Humanitarian Award, recognizing an outstanding high school student who demonstrates exceptional leadership, compassion, volunteerism, and a commitment to serving others.

Last year's recipient, Tom Bergerat, reminded us that making a difference doesn't always require grand gestures.

If you know a student who is creating positive change, whether through volunteer service, community involvement, philanthropy, or leadership, we encourage you to nominate them. The recipient will be recognized at The Soirée at the Ranch on October 1, 2026!
