Who Conceal

People who conceal their sins will not prosper, but if they confess and turn from them, they will receive mercy. (NLT) -Proverbs 28:13

Living with a guilty conscience certainly does not lead to peace. Actively hiding the truth through lying and manipulating does not lead to long term prosperity. However, revealing the truth and changing habits or lifestyle brings peace. This verse also says confession and repentance brings mercy. If your heart longs to receive peace or mercy, the first step is to open up about what you are doing. Then make a proactive change in your life to stop sinning. In time, you will receive mercy.
