Tell me your hunting story 🦌

Tell me about the hunt. Show me a photo of that day, the animal, or describe it to me, and I’ll put it on canvas! I’ll recreate that unforgettable moment, telling your story while hanging on your wall.
After learning about digital taxidermy, I started toying with the idea of paint taxidermy. It doesn’t have to be your typical “Buck in the field” type painting. It could be a moment from the hunt that you just want to hang on the wall, such as laughing around the fire with a buddy or loved one, or just a moment of solitude that made you feel connected to nature. That thing we’re after, not just the animal— I can paint that. Or I can try my damndest. I can do larger, more detailed style paintings, close ups, more abstract or field and stream-esque like the one pictured. I don’t have any leads at this point, so I’m going to get started on an elk soon. Want it to be your elk? Let me know! This is my first attempt at this venture, but you can see other paintings I’ve done on my other page

This mule deer painting is also for sale.

Was thumbing through my camera roll and found these. I don’t have a big following, but I’ll take quality over quantity any day. Thank you for listening. Sometimes out here working my day job in Montana, it’s easy to forget who I was before coming here. And who I still am. Which was part of the plan I suppose. I haven’t played a lonely gig in the corner of a bar in nearly a year. These days I’m living in the moment more often. Living within the songs of nature. Songs of the mountains. Songs of the birds. Songs of strangers. And songs of my own that aren’t yet written.
