Lately I have talked to a few students regretting decisions they made and wishing they had been more of....."something." Our experiences are valuable and inherent in our development as human beings. What defines you is not the decision, but what you do with the consequences of that decision. Since I recommend Kathryn Schulz's TED Talk about regret so often, I thought it merited a second posting. Her message is worth reflection.
