No experience or previous training is required. Responsibilities include tumbling parts prior to assembly, assembly of a parts for a variety of industries and packaging parts for shipment. Some work has the ability to be completed from home.

Autopilot, Inc., an AS9100 certified precision manufacturing company, is seeking CNC machine operators to contribute to our growing company. Autopilot’s customers span many industries, including the outdoor industry, aerospace / defense, photonics / imaging and many other commercial enterprises. The position provides long-term stability and opportunity for career growth. Starting pay at $20.

Autopilot is currently seeking operators for 2nd (1pm - 9pm) shift positions, M-F.

Duties:

Work with engineers, machinists and management to exchange technical information and review drawings to machine, assemble and modify precision parts using CNC mills and lathes. Paperless workflow is performed through a newly implemented ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system. The candidate will program and utilize cobots to help automate production throughout the shift. Quality checks are performed using state of the art technology and metrology equipment.

Skills:

-Must have strong analytical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
-Must be self-motivated with a high level of creativity
-Strong interpersonal skills required to achieve cooperation and reach agreement with internal and external customers and suppliers
-Ability to prioritize, schedule and execute a high volume of prototype, short-run and program manufacturing jobs

Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent
2-year degree in machining, manufacturing or engineering highly preferred
Previous experience in CNC operation highly preferred
