This is definitely one of the coolest projects that we’ve ever gotten to be a part of, and has done an incredible job on this very complex project.

This curved section is just one small part the roof, but I think it deserves a little extra attention. That “swoop” in the roof is both beautiful AND functional as it makes room for a much larger corner window unit in that upper room that allows for some SERIOUSLY impressive views. 🙌🙌

Anyone have a guess on how we kept our shingles straight when you can’t snap lines? On top of that, the steep side of the roof is a 9/12 pitch and the low slope side is a 1/12, but the eave is in a straight line, so the steep end is about 48 inches longer from the eave to the ridge than the other end is.

Finishing up the stone-coated steel shingles on the first addition at this home. There is a second addition in back that we will be doing as soon as the material comes in.

And yes, that is a 6 car, 3000 square foot garage. “Not it!” on sweeping that thing out at the end of a long winter...

I got the left over flooring up on the ceiling in the bunk beds today. Kind of nice little unplanned addition huh? 🙌

I cut it all to length and prefinished it with two coats of matte polyurethane before I put up.

Can’t wait to see it once it’s painted and the light fixtures and black metal railing/ladder are installed.
