KINGDOM SEEKERS
A TRUTHFUL THOUGHT 10/1/25vf
Proverbs 30:19 The way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a serpent on a rock, the way of a ship in the middle of the sea, and the way of a man with a maid.
They all involve a kind of unseen or untraceable path, and in the last example, the proverb is hinting at the subtle, sometimes unfathomable nature of human romantic interaction.

Proverbs 30:5-6 Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words or He will reprove you, and you will be proved a liar.
Revelation 22:18-19 adds a little more punch – “I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the tree of life and from the holy city, which are written in this book.”

Proverbs 27:14 He who blesses his friend with a loud voice early in the morning, it will be reckoned a curse to him.
A loud voice in the morning is a lot for many of us to take. You are not providing a blessing, rather a curse. Be quiet!

Proverbs 27:8 Like a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a man who wanders from his home.
A wandering bird is exposed to danger, without shelter, and vulnerable to harm. A man wandering from his home can lead to aimlessness, exposure, or regret. We need to stay home with God and our God-given responsibilities. We cannot afford to be adrift.

Proverbs 27:7 A sated [full or satisfied] man loathes honey, but to a famished man any bitter thing is sweet.
Appetite shapes perception. When you are full, you may overlook additional blessings. When you are in need, you may find value even in hardship.
