📚🏛️ Exploring the rich history of Gallatin County! Our students had an amazing afternoon diving into the past. A quick stop at the Courthouse and a visit to the Gallatin History Museum opened their minds to over a century of journalism, diverse living conditions, and the fascinating pastimes of Bozeman’s early residents. 🗞️🏠

📸 Check out this snapshot of our students by the Jefferson River near the Headwaters of the Missouri. They were engrossed in reading an Avant Courier-Journal from the 1890s, transporting themselves back to a time of log cabin meals on the frontier. They also couldn’t help but admire the stunning mural depicting the founding of Bozeman, the Gallatin County Seat. 🌄🌲

Stretching our legs on Friday afternoons is part of our regular learning practice. It’s a good way to spend some time outdoors, reflect, and connect as we head into the weekend.
