✨ Quiz time! How well do you know your IEP basics?

There are different types of IEP meetings (initial, review, amendment), but one thing is required for every child with an IEP: the Annual IEP review.

📅 Schools must hold this meeting at least *once every year*—scheduled on or before the “annual due date” listed on your child’s current IEP. (It can be held on the date or earlier, but never after the due date has passed.)

👉 Fun fact: The 3-year reevaluation is a separate requirement—that’s why “every 3 years” can feel confusing. But the Annual IEP must always happen once every yearl, no matter what.
