Thanksgiving is just around the corner and before you know it we will be celebrating New Years. If you have not done so, please file for your homestead exemption. If you sold your home in Florida and purchased another one in Florida check and see if you can file for your portability. It will save you money in your real estate taxes next year.

Property appraisers 2019 taxes have been mailed out. For homeowners that qualify for homestead exemption. Please file them as soon as you can do that you can have that exemption for 2020 taxes. You have until February 28,2020 to file but why wait.

Also portability is available for those who sold a home within the past two years.
