True Peace Classes

Did you know that a few states, cities and places in the United States have Hispanic names:
Let’s see some of them.
CALIFORNIA: it means CALI, from calor: hot, FORNIA:from the latin forno or horno: oven.
California means hot as an oven.
TEXAS: it means tejas or rooftiles. The letter x from the latin was replaced by the J, that is why you can say Texas or Tejas,Mexico or Mejico.
LAS VEGAS: that was the last name of the Vegas sisters, if they came walking you could say: they came LAS VEGAS. I heard that a lot when I was younger: ahi vienen LAS GONZALEZ!
COLORADO: it means red. Colorado is when you get blushed in your face. I also remember that from my youth: te pusiste colorado!
NEVADA: the opposite of the hot states, Nevada means when the snow (nieve) falls. La nevada cayó esta mañana: We were snowed in this morning.
FLORIDA: it means when a place is blooming or full of flowers. Esa ciudad está toda Florida: that city is blooming!
And then also every place that starts with SAN meaning SAINT. Like San Diego, San Francisco and San Antonio.
