SOS is a community group for all Utahns we formed recently to give voice to the many people we hear from who do not like the tone in our schools or our community, do not want to see racism, but DO want their children to be taught perspective and empathy and support for others, yet who don't know how to speak up.

Other parent groups these days are giving school boards the FINGER—let’s give them a HAND instead 😉The influence of the common sense mainstream is being erased in our local school boards. Local school boards have become a battleground for national politics. Several of our school board members here in Utah have experienced threats and must now be provided increased personal security in their daily lives. Several local school boards meetings have been taken over by certain contingents. SOS believes there is a silent majority of community members who don’t like the way things are going, and recognizes that it’s time for that majority to raise its voice in peaceful and respectful discourse.
