Making progress during Covid. Thanks to Staff and City Council we were able to take this project through the next step in a virtual public hearing. Onward!

President's Post: As we lay the foundation for Boulder's economic recovery and long term vitality, keeping important investment projects moving forward is critical . . . which is why we're thankful that the project team for the planned University Hill hotel (including Chris Shears of Shears Adkins Rockmore and Danica Snyder Powell of the Trestle Strategy Group) and our City of Boulder Colorado Government Council took a positive step forward Tuesday evening with the concept plan review step on the road to realizing this economic catalyst project. As the Boulder Chamber's Public Affairs Director Andrea Meneghel said in our letter of support for the project, "Since 2014, identifying an anchor use for the University Hill business district has been a priority for the council and for years our businesses have strongly advocated for the type of year-round economic activity that this project could stimulate." Yes, there are still many steps to take on the path to getting this new hotel project across the finish line, including detailed design work that will address the input from City Council, but for now, Thank You to all who are working to move this project forward!
