Firefighter Spotlight | Josh Temes

From serving our community to standing on the highest peak in North America, Josh continues to demonstrate dedication, resilience, and determination both on and off duty.

Josh has served as a Firefighter/Paramedic with Boulder Rural Fire Rescue for the past six years and also volunteers with Rocky Mountain Rescue. On June 3, Josh and two friends successfully completed an unguided summit of Denali, reaching 20,310 feet...the highest mountain in North America!

The expedition lasted 15 days, with temperatures dropping as low as -30°F, making this an incredible test of endurance, teamwork, and perseverance.

Join us in congratulating Josh on this remarkable achievement! His commitment to serving others and pushing his limits is an inspiration to us all.
