APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN // DANCE DIRECT: SPACE RESIDENCY PROGRAM ✨

Boulder Ballet’s Dance Direct: Space Residency Program is NOW accepting applications for the next residency cycle! This opportunity is open to ANYONE creating movement-based work — emerging artists, established choreographers, dance educators, movers, collaborators, and creatives of ALL styles and genres.

Whether you’re developing a new choreographic work, researching movement practices, building curriculum, experimenting with ideas, or simply looking for dedicated creative space — Dance Direct exists to support the process. No performance pressure. No final product required. Just space to create. 💫

✨ WHAT YOU RECEIVE:
• Free studio space at Boulder Ballet
• Up to 24 hours over 3 months
• Two hours per week (based on availability)
• No culminating performance required
• No requirement to present a work-in-progress or final product

📅 RESIDENCY TIMEFRAMES:
• Round 1: Aug. 1 – Oct. 31, 2025
• Round 2: Nov. 1, 2025 – Jan. 31, 2026
• Round 3: Feb. 1 – April 30, 2026

📣 Artists Notified: July 14
