The name Find Your Center came from a song. 🎵

While listening to a track by a loved one’s favorite artist, these lyrics stopped us: “My love, it’s just a reminder, find your center.” That is the feeling and the message we want to share.

Therapy, at its core, isn’t about fixing what’s broken. We aim to help you return to the steady, grounded place that was always there, even when life made it impossible to trust.

That belief shaped everything about how we practice:
→ We don’t pathologize. We explore.
→ We don’t rush toward diagnosis. We listen.
→ We focus on the whole person, not just the symptoms.
→ We don’t think we are the answer or the magic. Care is. Authenticity is. Love is. And you are.

You already have a center. We’re just here to help you find your way back to it.

June is Pride Month. 🌸

Whatever that means to you, this month carries an invitation to be a little more honest with yourself about who you are and what you want.

So much of what brings people into therapy is the weight of not being fully seen. By others, yes, but often by themselves first.

If you’ve been carrying a version of yourself that doesn’t quite fit, this might be a moment to set it down.

If you’re looking for a place to start, start here. Happy June everyone!

We have more language than ever to describe our patterns, but we only change them when we understand what they’re actually telling us.

This is about that second part.

If any of these landed, it might be time to answer the questions that actually promote change.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy teaches us that genuine validation is critical AND growth comes from seeing both sides of the coin.

How do you invite awareness of this complexity and learn to hold both truths at once?

Too much of any good thing reveals its darkness. There is a version of every strength that is also a weakness.

The same trait that makes you resilient can make it hard to ask for help. The thing that makes you thoughtful can tip into analysis paralysis. The quality that makes you dependable can turn into always putting yourself last.

There isn’t a magic inflection point where good turns bad. But we must stay honest about the cost, even when it looks right from the outside.

Which ones did we miss? Drop them below. 👇

We’ve all been there. 😅

It’s hard enough to see your patterns clearly. Harder still to choose something different. Hardest yet to act consistently in a way that breaks the cycle.

Sometimes it takes a couple of tries, and sometimes it takes some direct hits from life to finally embrace the change.
