So-called "ag gag" laws interfere with press freedoms, and put a damper on public health, animal welfare and environmental standards.

In Utah, the first state to try and prosecute a person under its ag gag law, the Animal Legal Defense Fund and PETA are taking the law to court for violating the First Amendment.
