Our regional and national movement building programs were represented at two conferences in the last two months.

At the Zero Waste Forum, in Park City, UT in April, our Co-Director Hayden Dansky gave a presentation for Food Rescue Alliance about our national network and setting up systems of collaboration over competition. Our colleague, Jamie Anderson, Executive Director of Denver Food Rescue, represented our cooperative software Rootable on a panel about using technology for zero waste. They discussed the importance of Rootable being built as a cooperative from a lens of data ownership and autonomy. Check out the Utah Public Radio coverage of the conference here.
