This is a pastel drawing I made after college and a painting I made as an exercise in college. They were inspired by the great Wayne Thiebaud. I so love his clean graphic compositions, and how his paintery techniques make colors come alive. A true gift to the world.

An amazing celebration yesterday with fellow Asian Colorado artists. The diversity of work and perspectives is inspiring. Road trip to Loveland to see this show and fabulous art center!
