A weekly German conversation hour hosted by ALTEC and the Germanic and Slavic Languages & Literatures Department, focused on informal listening and speaking practice.

An upper-level Japanese conversation table for students looking to strengthen their speaking and listening skills in a guided group environment.

Russian Conversation Table (Russian Tea)

An informal Russian conversation hour open to all CU Boulder students, faculty, and staff. Participants practice speaking Russian while enjoying tea and cookies. All levels welcome.

1. Pizza and Perspectives: Nordic Countries
ISSS is hosting our next Pizza and Perspectives on November 5! The topic is Nordic Countries. Enjoy a slice of pizza and listen to our Nordic students and scholars discuss their countries, their culture, and their experience in the United States.
When: November 5, 11:30-12:30 p.m.

2. First but Not Alone: First Gen Celebration Day Fair
Join us for food, games, music and giveaways at our annual National First-Generation College Celebration Day! It's all about YOU!
All first-generation students are welcome.

3. Diwali Celebration 2025 by Hindu YUVA
Get ready for a magical evening filled with ✨ Pooja, 💃 dance, 🎶 music, and 🍛 delicious Indian food!

4. Chinese Board Game Night
Join ALTEC and the Department of Asian Languages and Civilizations to learn mahjong and Chinese chess this spring! We will meet at The HIVE (CASE E380) at 5:30 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 18 and November 10 in the fall 2025 semester. All skill levels welcome!
