Today’s the day at the OLHA Pine Ridge Housing Project! We’re installing precast foundation panels, a fantastic example of using off-site construction to keep our project on track and on budget.

These panels are being installed quickly and efficiently, providing a strong, durable, and cost-effective foundation for the rest of the homes. We’re excited to visit the housing factory this week for the Blower-Door testing!

Progress update: The first Net Zero Energy Ready units for the Rosebud Indian Reservation are under construction at the Ojinjinkta Housing Development Corporation factory! Proud to partner with the Housing Authority on this project, delivering resilient, high-quality, factory-built homes that set a new standard for performance and efficiency for Rosebud Sioux (Sicangu Oyate)Tribal members.

We’re onsite today watching the first geothermal wells being drilled for the Waniyetu Wowapi Lakota Youth Arts and Culture Center!

How it helps achieve Net-Zero: Geothermal heat pumps transfer heat to/from the ground, drastically reducing the energy needed for the HVAC system. When coupled with a super insulated building envelope and solar power, this system helps us achieve net zero energy of the course of the year!
