But, the fascinating thing about it, is you actually have to be cooperating with the thieves! They are very smart and they pose as the title company or someone else in email or some other way and it is a very lucrative criminal enterprise! Though, sometimes attempts still happen. I warn them and put the fear of God in them about it. It works! In addition, I am glad to see the governor is doing something to try to offer relief. But, they have known this mess was coming for a long time and they waited until now, so this is too little and too late. We need to do more to have a more reasonable property tax system than this.
