We are delighted to announce our annual Alpine Hike & Herb Walk is happening Saturday, July 25th in and around Nederland, Colorado.

We'll meet at 10:00a at the Ned General Cafe, and will then head up Caribou Road for a hike to the spectacular 360* panoramic view of the Continental Divide and front range. Then, mid-afternoon we'll head to Mud Lake for an afternoon potluck picnic (please bring something organic or from your garden or local CSA) and pleasant walk around the loop where we'll identify and discuss the healing properties of yarrow, arnica, usnea, osha, and other wonderful medicinal herbs.

The event is open to all people of goodwill, and a suggested donation of $33 will secure your spot (sliding scale: $11-$55). https://yonearth.org/support/ Feel free to join in the afternoon, too, if the alpine hike might be too challenging for you - it's a moderate hike at high elevation (see attached pics from previous years).

Please bring clothing layers for varied weather (including a rain jacket, just in case), a water bottle, snacks, something to share for the potluck, and good hiking shoes/boots.
