Join us for a week of epic rides, ultra-cycling seminars, friends, and fun culminating with the Longhorn 500 and Stampede 200.
Texas Hell Week has been an early season tradition since 1991. The Texas Hill Country offers some of the best Spring riding in America. The seven counties south of the Colorado River offer nearly 1,000 miles of paved roads with little or no traffic. From mid-March to mid-April, the wild flowers are in bloom, making for an unforgettable riding experience. Texas Hell Week offers three rides daily, approximately 30-50 miles, 50-80 miles, and 60-100 miles over seven days. Every ride is different. Participants can ride as much as they want. In addition, there will be early evening seminars on coaching, nutrition, and crewing, as well as social happy hours.
The Longhorn 500 and the Stampede 200 features the best of the famed Texas Hill Country. Both the 500- and 200-mile courses are moderately difficult - ideally suited to advanced beginning to intermediate level ultra-racers. The Longhorn 500 is the first road-style RAAM-qualifier on the U.S. domestic calendar, perfect for those who aspire to qualify for Race Across America, or those racing RAAM or RAW in June who want a warm-up race or to provide their support crew an opportunity to practice before the big event. For 2026, we are also the offering the option to race unsupported.
Curious about ultracycing? The Stampede 200 is a great double-century race that features a fun and fast course to test your mettle. The race will be held on March 28th, 2026 in Fredericksburg, TX. This challenging double century route includes the best of Texas Hill Country.
The Stampede 200 Club Cup
Come out and race with your fellow club or team members to claim the Stampede 200 Club Cup. This challenge will have members of the same bike club or team compete together to complete the Stampede 200 in the fastest cumulative time.
Each club/team must have a minimum of three members competing with all racers racing in the solo category. Team members do not need to be in the same age group or gender category, but do need to ride the same bike type. The winner of the Stampede 200 Club Cup will be determined by the lowest cumulative time of the top three finishers of a given club/team.
Rally your club or team and be the first to raise the 2026 Stampede 200 Club Cup.
