We are delighted to be working with ORCA Computing and Cisco Systems on the Ultracold Quantum Memories (UQM) Innovate UK project.
This project will demonstrate the feasibility of combining Infleqtion’s ultracold atom technology platforms with ORCA Computing’s patented quantum memory protocol.
Quantum memories are analogous to a standard computer memory, but instead of storing “1”s and “0”s, a quantum state “qubit” is stored.
This demonstration will pave the way to commercially scalable platforms of quantum memories which can be integrated into quantum repeaters – devices which are necessary for short-term quantum computation as well as the realisation of the quantum internet.
