Today is a day to celebrate our union, workers around the world, and the essential contributions we make to society.

Join us today at the Boulder Downtown Bandshell from 4-6 p.m. to hear Kathryn Lehman, BCEU bargaining committee member, and other labor leaders speak about this moment in time and what we can all do to support Boulder County employees getting a strong first contract!

Since last June, our bargaining committee has been negotiating protections for immigrant workers. The commissioners and their attorneys have refused to negotiate a single sentence of our immigration protections article - they crossed out every word of our proposal.

This is unacceptable! Immigrants in our workforce are under great stress and fearing for their lives and those of their families. We are standing by them!

The Boulder County Commissioners public hearing about the 2026 budget on Tuesday, October 14 at 1:00 PM on the 3rd floor at 1325 Pearl St in Boulder.
