Boulder Open Space Conservancy is excited to announce our partnership with Boulder International Film Festival again this year!

BOSC will co-present a very important film, Snow Leopard Sisters, on Sat, April 11th at 10:00am showing at Grace Commons 1820 15th St. in Boulder.

Snow Leopard Sisters tells the extraordinary story of an unlikely yet unbreakable friendship between two Indigenous women living in one of the most remote corners of the Himalayas. The film follows snow leopard conservationist Tshiring Lhamu Lama as she mentors 17-year-old Tenzin Bhuti Gurung, who is seeking to escape a forced marriage. Together, they traverse the rugged terrain of the Himalayas in search of the endangered snow leopard, discovering courage, resilience, and the power of women’s leadership along the way.

After the film, BOSC is hosting a free panel Q&A and Call 2 Action for folks who were moved during the film to take action for local wildlife. Panelists will be announced soon!

Go to Bosc.org or biff1.com for more info.
