March is Women’s History Month… and today is International Women’s Day! So I’m taking a break from the hockey game to share some of my favorite ladies… as a reminder that our stories have always mattered, even when they weren’t always centered.

I am a woman, mother, and small business owner. And I have been endlessly inspired by the strength and resilience of the women around me. By their gentleness, and their rage too. I’ve been inspired by all of the women out here running businesses, raising families, chasing dreams, and holding it all together when it feels like the world is falling apart.

Let’s raise a glass (or a joint, or whatever else floats your boat!) to each and every one of the women who came before us, the women standing beside us, and the little girls growing up watching us show the world what we can do.

I take A LOT of family photos, friends. But I only share a very small portion of them here - this is a choice that I made last year, in an effort to protect the privacy of your little ones. I will never ever post images of your children’s faces without being given permission. Because safety first!

With that being said… I was VERY excited when this mama said that I could share a few (faceless) photos of her adorable little twinny boys! ✨ Children have a way of finding magic in everything that they do, and it was super fun to watch these two play together during their session! We got so many great shots without even having to pose those guys. ☺️

Before we ever start taking photos, my goal is to help you feel good about things - to give you time to take a deep breath and shake out the nerves, and to let yourself be celebrated in this season. Pregnancy isn’t always comfortable… but your photo experience should be! ✨

Halfway through our session, this mama was laughing, glowing, and fully embracing her magic. And that’s exactly what I hope for every parent that I get to photograph! You deserve a session that feels natural, and images that feel like you. So I’ll be here to help you with maternity & newborn photos, whenever you’re ready. 👶🍼
