Where do I even begin to express my heartfelt gratitude? The past couple of weeks have been an extraordinary blend of bitter and sweet as I celebrated the culmination of my 40th and final school year. I extend my sincerest appreciation to the families who have made me feel so deeply loved and cherished! To the thousands of children who have passed through the doors of Care A Lot throughout my career, each of you holds a special place in my heart, and I am filled with love and fond memories of our time together! I have been overwhelmed with thoughtful cards, gifts, kind words, and numerous coloring pages that have touched my heart in ways that words cannot express! I would like to extend a huge shout out to Kylie King and Jeanne Brown for organizing and creating the most exquisite scrapbook filled with past pictures, cards, and heartfelt words, as well as new retirement wishes, letters, and cards! This beautiful scrapbook is a treasured keepsake that I will always hold dear! Our end-of-the-year program and pre-K graduation was a truly unforgettable night! My family surprised me with the presence of all of my children and grandchildren, along with my sisters, my loving mother, and some incredible friends! I was deeply moved by the gift of a white rose from each of my 10 grandchildren, as well as the numerous flowers I received from others! You all have a remarkable way of making me feel seen, heard, and loved! I am beyond thrilled for Miss Amanda as she embarks on the next chapter of Care A Lot! May she be blessed with the same love, joy, and fulfillment that I have experienced over the past 40 years! I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the Botkins community and all of the surrounding communities for their unwavering support in helping Care A Lot become the exceptional institution it is today!
