We installed the railing posts and secured them using the specified post brackets. All posts were installed according to the drawings. The deck was covered with tarps to help it dry before applying the protective tape on top.
We built the stair framing for the deck. The stairs are finished, except for the outside corner. That corner will be completed tomorrow.
Deck framing has been completed and the finished structure was shown in the video. Precast concrete deck blocks were installed by bonding them to the existing concrete slab to support the posts.
Gravel was installed and evenly spread over the designated area where a deck will be constructed. The surface was leveled to create a clean, stable base, improving drainage and preventing moisture accumulation and vegetation growth in the future deck area.
In this video, we’re showing the preparation work we’ve completed.
We built custom form frames for the concrete deck bases where the posts will be installed.
The area where gravel will be placed has been properly prepped, and we laid down a protective plastic layer.
These custom frames are positioned in specific locations and are designed to keep the gravel out, ensuring clean and accurate placement for the concrete bases.
Here we’re showing the area where the gravel will be placed.
Right now, you can see the existing surface, and this section will be fully cleared and prepped.
We’ll remove any debris and level the ground to create a proper base.
After that, we’ll install and spread the gravel evenly across this area to improve drainage and create a clean, finished look.
