We had an awesome experience with Amy of Amy's Salon Services today. We came in to see her for a consultation for my 13-yr old daughter who has long, tangled curly, hair that was somewhat oily and yet dried out - partially damaged due to a Brazilian blowout a year ago and her own futile attempts to straighten her unmanageable hair with a flat iron, daily. Amy had given us an estimate yesterday, that to be honest shocked me at first because I have not researched how much Japanese Hair Straightening in general cost. But after she talked about the product and process involved and the fact that my daughter had been looking for a solution to her problematic hair for so long, we went with it and got an appointment for the very next day! Amy's salon is located in a residential area but the salon itself is in a stand alone, cute and clean unit. Perhaps due to the holidays, we were the only patrons there so it was very comfortable and private. Her salon offers snacks and drinks too! The process took 4 hours and Amy worked very meticulously. When my daughter's hair was done, it looked amazing! My daughter was thrilled and can't wait for her friends to see her. I'm excited for her too! Amy provided post care instructions and seems to really care about my daughter's concerns/questions throughout the treatment. When it's time for the touch up months from now, we will be back. Thank you, Amy!
