The 102nd Bridge is expected to reopen by Friday, February 28!

Repairs to the structural support of the bridge are complete. You’ll see the construction shoring start to be removed from the bridge deck this week, with finishing touches, like painting and cleanup, into next week.

We know this has been a true inconvenience for so many of our community members. Thank you for your patience while we've been working hard to complete repairs.

When the bridge reopens, please be aware of other traffic impacts downtown, including a project to improve sidewalks and lighting on 102nd Ave NE from Main Street to NE 185th St. Please also use extra caution and follow the traffic signs at the new 2-way stop at the intersection NE 185th St and 101st Ave NE.

Work to repair the 102nd Ave NE bridge is progressing. With the additional bridge shoring installed, pedestrian access across the bridge is restored, including during construction hours!

We are aware that the underside of the bridge was hit yesterday afternoon. Structural engineers assessed the damage yesterday, and additional repairs are necessary. Next week’s construction schedule will continue as planned while our contractor works to schedule new repairs:
