Leaning into learning about yourself, caring for yourself, connecting to it all is what makes you capable of being weathered by life and not broken by it. It is the armor of it all. It's not self-care, it's not even woo-woo anymore we know these mental, emotional, and physical depths are a real known part of the human mind & body experience. So how do we begin...start becoming what you need so you know how to live in it. That's the shelter in all storms.

Some people are literally not having the same experience or perceived reality of the world as others. 15-20‰ of us process more environmental information than the average. I don't enjoy the term sensitive likely because I fall in this category myself, because it seems a little woo-woo and weak. In fact, it is the opposite plain and simple it is more data intake and output. It is more awareness mentally and feeling emotionally. A less filtered reality where things are seen and recognized. It's where that pattern recognition lives along with other skills, but it also means maintaining rest because you are using your senses more all of them in fact. Or learning to filter more if it is overwhelming. Just even knowing this could be part of your life's gamebaord is vital to know.

The miserable deserve the walk away. There is a difference between the sad, the depressed and the miserable. Miserable is the red flag there is to indicate you should not be there. That is their stuff, their work, get one hundo out of the way with pleasure. If they aren't one day cool, but make no mistake don't mess with the miserable.

Had to share for sure, shared this on this exact day last year already exhausted by a horrific year of living and I was only getting started. In 2025 I was more shocked and dissapointed by life and people in it than I could have ever dreamed of being. An old friend often referred to me as a doormat, super rude right? But that was the start of the lesson I did learn. I am doormat, and I didn't want to be any longer, so I got help and tools to see that it never happens to me again. It's unfortunate that the last niave part of my soul had to die, but then I learned that I disassociate from peoples bad behavior, I didn't know, but I do and I've always done that. I do it in other ways as well, do it when I 'm heaviliy stressed out too. That's how I taught myself to survive and that's okay, because it kept me in peoples lives when they didn't deserve it, it kept me loving people and that is all I would ever want for myself or the people I've loved. The thing I missed, there are a handful of people who don't deserve that grace or presence in your life, they are true destroyers and darkness active in the world. There are lines you can create, allowances you have options in, you just must learn them and slow down enough to see when you need them. It's a kind of self care even, so if you've been a survivor of life consider this before something forces you to. You are not meant to be exhausted by life and certainly not by other peoples bad behavior, dissapointed in it, or feel out of place in it ieven, it is your one life. You are meant to live your life, your story, your dreams all the time not occasionally when it is okay for other people. It really is that whole do NOT dim your light for anyone. This is why mediation has so much value in my life, it walks me through all the stages that is the true vitamin of life the knowing, the learning, the accepting and growing what and who you are.
