Montana’s Local 400 has merged with Local 302! We are excited to welcome the Local 400 stationary and construction brothers and sisters to Local 302.

Founded in 1911, the Port of Grays Harbor in Aberdeen is one of Washington State’s oldest port districts and Washington’s only deep-water port located directly on the Pacific Ocean.

The Port of Grays Harbor operates four deep-water marine terminals, the Westport Marina, Bowerman Airport, Grays Harbor Pilotage Services, and numerous other facilities throughout Grays Harbor County.

AG Processing Inc. (AGP), the Port’s largest marine terminal customer, is undergoing major expansion and redevelopment projects at Terminals 2 and 4. AGP is a leading agribusiness and a major United States soybean processor/refiner.
Working for general contractor Rognlin’s Inc. and subcontractors Dickson Demolition and Abatement, Lakeside Industries, and Dewitt Construction, Local 302 Operating Engineers are fulfilling all heavy equipment work for the projects.

This includes:
• constructing additional storage at AGP’s existing Terminal 2 export facility;
• building more than 40,000 feet of new rail for offloading, storage, and assembly of unit trains;
• repurposing the 50-acre former State Route 520 pontoon construction site casting basin into a cargo laydown area;
• constructing secured site access and roadway improvements; and
• constructing a new state-of-the-art ship loader at Terminal 4.

Once complete, the Port will stand as a modern, high-capacity export hub capable of efficiently connecting American agriculture to global markets — cementing its role as a key player in the future of international trade.
